I temporarily lost the computer cord for the camera. I have found it, so here are some initial Darwin photos. I have lots of nice photos of K saying goodbye, but will upload them soon.

Watching for planes at the airport

Getting ready for takeoff - note K has a jumper and pants on. I don't think these will ever get worn again!

First day of school - K had swimming practise during her first week of school so got to wear her crocs in the morning and changed into school shoes later each day

It's raining - the houses don't have gutters so the rain just flows off the roof like a waterfall

Getting ready for Easter soon

This is the swimming pool - and more rain

Duck pond at the park - about a 10 minute slow walk from home

Free water park a five minute drive away - the tiny blue speck is K coming down the slide

At the wave pool in the city - a man made beach with man made waves. The current is very strong and K had a great time swimming in a totally different environment.

 

Now I have the camera cord, I'm more confident in taking lots more photos.

 

It has been a challenging few weeks and we are missing everyone. We are looking forward though to some more adventures and sharing them here.
